To make certain we consistently bring the most qualified candidates to the table, Direct Start follows these important steps.

-Do it right the first time
We start by taking the time to evaluate your corporate culture and make sure we fully understand the industry or industries you serve.  We also understand that the personality of a candidate plays a huge role in a successful placement. We can have someone with all the right skills and education in place, but if personalities clash, the placement won’t work in the long run.

-Learn from your hiring manager
We will work with your hiring manager to develop a successful candidate profile.

-Short lists
Develop a list of qualified candidates through sourcing, referral programs, industry networking, and our comprehensive database.

-We do our homework
Phone Screening, face to face interviews, reference and background checking and any other requested checks that you may require are done before submitting any candidates.

-Submit prospects
After our careful screening process we will send qualified resumes for your review. We will then place a follow up call and answer any questions that you may have.  Direct Start will help coordinate interview times and additional follow ups are made after the interview process.

-Assist with salary negotiations
By this point in the process there should be no surprises as to what the candidate is seeking in compensation.  We create open lines of communication between our candidate and our client companies so everyone comes out a winner.

-Follow up on our placements
After each placement we send out an evaluation.  We gather information on both the candidate performance, as well as the performance of the Direct Start representative.  We use this evaluation to strengthen our service offering and address any concerns you may have.
