Direct Start is a professional placement firm with a focus on positions that lead to permanent work. We currently have an Accounting Associate position located in the Appleton area.
Primary responsibilities include recording and monitoring of business transactions, maintaining accurate fixed asset records, and preparation of information used in preparing sales tax returns and government reports.
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting
- Reconcile General Ledger
- Maintain company fixed asset and depreciation systems policies and procedures
- Works with R&D to ensure tax credits are accurate
- Maintains records by state including machine sales, part sales, and service revenue
- Collaborates with AR and AP by participating in both processes
- Prepares monthly analysis vs actual vs budgeted headcount by function
