Job Description:
This position performs the technical responsibilities associated with the production of stainless-steel parts. These tasks are performed with a variety of equipment and tooling that require attention and skills associated with the set-up and adjustment of said tools, to accurately produce parts in accordance with high quality standards. Success in the position requires in-depth knowledge of the various tools and equipment along with attention to detail and the execution of tasks in a safe and efficient manner. It requires interest and creativity in problem solving how a specific job can be produced and in working with others to accomplish that same goal. Working as a team, handling all the tools and materials in a safe, conscientious, and efficient manner to produce a high-quality product is of utmost importance.
Operating the following tools which may include, but not limited to: Pneumatic and/or electric die grinders, Marvel Saw and/or rotary Fischer saws, Roll-grooving equipment, Belt and/or hard wheel grinders, Abrasive belt coping machine, Machining equipment; such as lathe or mill, Automated or manual T-drill, CNC lathe, Plasma Robot, Mazak Laser.
Perform routine maintenance and adjustments on above-mention equipment.
Read blueprints/technical drawings and accurately transfer measurements to raw material or as applicable to produce quality parts.
