Direct Start is a professional placement firm with a focus on positions that lead to fulltime permanent work. Our client in the Green Bay area, has an immediate need for a Industrial Painter. Successful candidates will have 5+ years of Industrial Painting experience. This includes paint and surface prep, application, finishing and any repairs needed. Sandblasting will also be a part of this role where the candidate will work with high-pressure equipment. Employees are also responsible for their own preventative maintenance and upkeep of application equipment. Selected candidates may also expect to lift up to 50 lbs. in the performance of assigned equipment. The ideal candidate for this particular opening has 2-3 years of prior painting experience; can demonstrate an understanding of mixing paints and the proper use of paint spraying equipment; is proficient in the use of air and electrical power tools; has prior experience in material handling and shipping/receiving; has a proven track record of working in a fast-paced environment and completing work with a sense of urgency; and can portray a cordial and welcoming demeanor toward coworkers and customers.
Hours are Monday through Friday, 10 am – 6 pm.
